The Northeastern arm of Health Net Inc. is setting up Medicare managed care operations in 5 more Connecticut counties.[@@]
Health Net, Woodland Hills, Calif., is moving into Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Windham counties.
The company already administers health coverage for 27,000 Connecticut Medicare beneficiaries through Medicare managed care operations in Fairfield, Hartford and New Haven counties.
Benefits of the Connecticut plans include a Medicare drug discount card and free access to a group exercise class that meets at designated sites twice a week, Health Net says.
