The insurance unit at Conseco Inc. has promoted Mark Alberts to chief actuary.[@@]
Alberts previously was a senior vice president for corporate actuarial at the company’s Conseco Insurance Group unit, according to Conseco, Carmel, Ind.
Alberts returned to Conseco in 2004 after spending several years as the chief actuary at Standard Management Corp., Indianapolis.
Alberts has a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Purdue University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and he is a past president of the Actuarial Club of Indianapolis.
