Pan-American Life Insurance Company has hired Camilo Salazar to be executive vice president for distribution, marketing and product management.[@@]
Salazar previously was a principal responsible for Latin America at Milliman Inc., Seattle, according to Pan-American, New Orleans. Salazar also has been an actuarial executive in the international operations at Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, and a unit of American International Group Inc., New York.
Salazar has a master’s degree in statistics and actuarial science from the University of Iowa. He is a past chairman of the international section of the Society of Actuaries, Schaumburg, Ill.
