Mutual of Omaha has picked GoldenCare USA and American Independent Marketing to help it market a new long term care insurance product.[@@]
GoldenCare and American Independent will have exclusive rights to distribute the product, which will be available in the individual market and the worksite “multi-life” market, according to Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb.
Mutual of Omaha plans to issue the policies through its United of Omaha Life Insurance Company unit.
While Mutual of Omaha is seeking approvals for the new product from state regulators, GoldenCare and American Independent will be distributing Mutual of Omaha’s existing LTC insurance products, the company says.
GoldenCare and American Independent manage a network of 20,000 independent LTC insurance agents.
