AIG Retirement Services Inc. has hired Timothy Rooney to be vice president for strategic initiatives in the AIG SunAmerica retirement markets.[@@]
Rooney, who will be responsible for developing products and marketing strategies, has been director of strategic initiatives in the annuities and mutual funds division at Pacific Life Insurance Company, Newport Beach, Calif., according to AIG Retirement, Los Angeles.
Rooney has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Baruch College and a master’s degree in finance from New York University.
AIG Retirement is a unit of American International Group Inc., New York.
