The board of the Viatical & Life Settlement Association of America will be keeping its 2004-2005 officers in the coming year.[@@]

The VLSAA board voted earlier this week at a meeting in Atlanta to keep M. Bryan Freeman as president and Rob Haynie as vice president.

The other officers, who also are returning, are Richard Guilford, secretary, and Phil Loy, treasurer.

The number of member firms is now close to 80, or about twice as many as belonged to the VLSAA a year ago, according Doug Head, the executive director of the Orlando, Fla., group.
