Two Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies named new presidents today.
Jude Thompson will take over as president of Kentucky, while Dennis Casey will be his counterpart for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana.
Thompson had been vice president and general manager for the Kentucky operation, in Louisville. His responsibilities included individual and under age 65 plans, including sales, account service, marketing underwriting and product development.
Over his 15-year career, he has held a variety of senior management positions with the company.
At Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana, Indianapolis, Casey will be responsible for all group health business in the state.
In 2004, he helped form the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Provider Advisory Council, which is comprised of 24 senior level executives.
