Mirko Cardinale, a Watson Wyatt economist who will manage the Montevideo center, once covered asset management and pension issues for a weekly investment publication affiliated with Financial Times Business Ltd., London. He has a master’s degree in economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
