Glenn Jennings will once again be executive director of the Kentucky Office of Insurance.[@@]

Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher, a Republican, has named Jennings to succeed Martin Koetters, who resigned Tuesday.

The reason for Koetters’ resignation was not immediately available.

Jennings served as Kentucky’s acting insurance office executive director in early 2004, and he also has been a deputy commissioner in the state Medicaid Services Department.

In recent months, Jennings has been serving as deputy executive director of the Kentucky Office of Charitable Gaming. Like the Kentucky insurance office, the Kentucky charitable gaming office is part of Kentucky’s Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet.
