Allstate Corp. has revved up its marketing engines by signing 2 racing-related sponsorship agreements.[@@]
The Northbrook, Ill., company has agreed to sponsor the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race to be held in August at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The company also has become the first official insurance sponsor of the National Association for Stock Care Auto Racing Inc., Daytona Beach, Fla.
The NASCAR partnership deal includes the life insurance, mutual fund and retirement products categories as well as the auto insurance and home insurance categories, Allstate says.
Allstate plans to build a number of advertising and marketing programs around the NASCAR deal and the Brickyard deal, the company says.
