Pacific Life Insurance Company says Mark Holmlund will be succeeding Larry Card as the leader of its securities division.[@@]

Holmlund, who has been the Newport Beach, Calif., company’s executive vice president for institutional products, will take the title of executive vice president for investments, Pacific Life says.

Card, who plans to retire at the end of the year, will serve as Pacific Life’s chief credit officer until he leaves, Pacific Life says.

Pacific Life also says Glenn Schafer will join a new “office of the chairman” as a vice chairman. Schafer has been the company’s president.
