Jefferson Pilot Financial is rolling out a pair of universal life insurance products.[@@]

The products, JPF Legend 3000 and JPF Legend 3000 NY, are designed to provide relatively low premiums along with long-term cash accumulation, according to Jefferson Pilot Financial, Greensboro, N.C., a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., Greensboro.

Because Jefferson Pilot Financial has based the new policies on the 2001 Commissioners’ Standard Ordinary mortality table, rather than the 1980 table, the cost of coverage is lower and the cash value is higher, Jefferson Pilot Financial says.

The products also can provide 20-year death benefit guarantees.

JPF Legend 3000 is issued by Jefferson-Pilot Life Insurance Company, Greensboro. The sister policy, JPF Legend 3000 NY, issued by Jefferson Pilot LifeAmerica Insurance Company, Greensboro, is available only in New York.
