Sun Life Financial Distributors Inc. has hired 2 executives and named 7 senior district vice presidents.[@@]
Sun Life Financial Distributors is a U.S. annuity distribution arm of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
The distribution operation has appointed Thomas Bullen chief operating officer and David Byrnes national sales manager.
Bullen previously was business development director at EarthMark Companies L.L.C., Fort Myers, Fla., a real estate development company. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rutgers University.
Byrnes, the new national sales manager, has been a managing director at Smith Barney, a unit of Citigroup Inc., New York. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Gettysburg College.
The new senior district vice presidents are Richard D’Amico, Stephen Angelis, Stephen Hinkhouse, Bruce McKibbin, Timothy O’Hara, James Pomerance and Thomas Scuccimarra.
Scuccimarra is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who was a lieutenant commander when he left the Navy in 2003. He held “various assignments within the Navy cryptology and intelligence communities,” according to Sun Life Financial Distributors.
