ING U.S. Hires American General Veteran

ING U.S. Financial Services has named Paul Mistretta chief operations officer for the U.S. life business group.[@@]

Mistretta will run the group’s technology, customer service and underwriting operations from headquarters offices in Atlanta.

Mistretta previously was executive vice president of insurance services and business process outsourcing at American General Life Insurance Companies, a unit of American International Group Inc., New York.

Mistretta has a bachelor’s degree in management science from Kean University and holds the Fellow of the Life Management Institute professional designation.
