The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, is teaming with a health account pioneer to sell a health plan with a health savings account option.[@@]

Guardian is marketing the HSA program together with Destiny Health, Oak Brook, Ill., in Illinois, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

The Destiny Health Plan is also available to employers in Massachusetts through a partnership with Tufts Health Plan, Waltham, Mass., and in Wisconsin through affiliated insurance brokers.

Employees who use HSAs must choose high-deductible, HSA-compatible health coverage. In addition to the HSA program, Destiny offers a health reimbursement arrangement program that is compatible with ordinary low-deductible health coverage as well as high-deductible health coverage, according to Guardian and Destiny.
