AXA Financial Promotes MONY Veteran

AXA Financial Inc. has named Pamela Duffy senior vice president of life underwriting for its AXA Financial and AXA Equitable Life units.[@@]

The New York company says Duffy will be responsible for underwriting at retail life underwriting operations in Syracuse, N.Y., and Charlotte, N.C. She also will be responsible for underwriting operations at a Simsbury, Conn., office that supports MONY Partners, which helps wholesale life products for AXA Financial’s AXA Equitable and MONY Life Insurance units.

Duffy was a life product development manager at The MONY Group Inc., New York, when AXA Financial acquired the company in July 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and holds the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries professional designation.

AXA Financial is an affiliate of AXA S.A., Paris.
