Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance Company, Baltimore, has introduced the Loyalty Awards Escalator annuity contract.[@@]
The contract is a flexible-premium, deferred, equity-indexed annuity.
Features include 4 interest crediting options, a $10,000 minimum initial premium and a choice of liquidity riders. One of the liquidity riders takes effect when the purchaser enters a nursing home, and another takes effect when the purchaser becomes unemployed.
Fidelity & Guaranty, an affiliate of Old Mutual P.L.C., London, says it will be releasing versions of the contract with 8-, 10- and 12-year durations.
