America’s Health Insurance Plans, Washington, is helping doctors by blasting trial lawyers.[@@]
The health insurance trade group says it has organized a television and print campaign that will use video of hungry sharks and photos of shark jaws to build support for changes in U.S. medical liability laws.
The print ads will appear on posters in buses and subways in Washington as well as in print publications, AHIP says.
AHIP says it may run the ads in “several target congressional districts and states later this year.”
