A midsize Riverhead, N.Y., bank has asked a Purchase, N.Y., distributor to run its investment program.[@@]
The distributor, Independent Financial Marketing Group Inc., says an IFMG broker-dealer unit will be offering customers of the bank, Suffolk County National Bank, mutual funds, annuities, life insurance policies, stocks and bonds.
Financial consultants in the branch offices will help clients with college planning, long term care planning, retirement planning and asset allocation, IFMG says.
SCNB is a unit of Suffolk Bancorp, Riverhead. The bank has 26 offices in Suffolk County, N.Y.
IFMG is a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
