The annuities division at a Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based unit of a large Toronto insurer is changing its executive team.[@@]

The unit, part of Sun Life Financial U.S., has named Michael Conwill vice president for finance and actuarial at its annuities division. Conwill, who previously was vice president for risk management, has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The unit has named Joel Prough vice president for products for its annuities division. Prough, who previously was a vice president at Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va., has a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Eastern Michigan University.
