MetLife Adopts Macromedia Technology

A large retirement services business is using Web technology to spice up its 401(k) plan participant education program.[@@]

The business, the retirement and savings unit of MetLife Inc., says it is developing presentations that feature audio, video and PowerPoint charts with the Macromedia Breeze system, a multimedia system from Macromedia Inc., San Francisco.

Plan participants can watch the presentations using Macromedia Flash Player software, MetLife says.
