An Allentown, Pa., long term care insurer has hired a long-time LTC risk management specialist.[@@]
The insurer, Penn Treaty American Corp., has named Stephen LaPierre senior vice president for claims management and policyholder services.
LaPierre previously worked as an LTC risk auditor and claims manager for insurers and LTC program administrators.
LaPierre has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a master’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
