A Toronto insurer is putting a longtime director in charge of its board.[@@]
The insurer, Sun Life Financial Inc., says Ronald Osborne will become the company’s non-executive chairman when the current chairman, William Stinson, retires in May.
Stinson has been a Sun Life director since 1985, and he became non-executive chairman in 2003.
Osborne has been a member of the company’s board since 1989. He now is chairman of the company’s audit and conduct review committee.
