The insurer, New York Life Insurance Company, is promoting John Cassagne to head of the association division. Cassagne, who has been the vice president in charge of sales for membership associations, will succeed David Dunn.

Cassagne has a bachelor’s degree in business from Hofstra University.

Dunn, who has held the top association division post at New York Life since 2001, plans to retire in April.
