A New York insurer says a property-casualty unit is setting up an eye care insurance program.[@@]

The domestic accident and health division at AIG Companies, a unit of American International Group Inc., has set up AIG Vision Care, a program that will sell employer-paid and employee-paid vision care insurance.

The program includes access to a vision care provider network. The network has contracts with ophthalmologists as well as with optometrists, opticians and eyewear stores, AIG says.
