System To Assemble Patient Profiles

MEDecision Inc., Wayne, Pa., is selling a system that can develop electronic patient reports for doctors.[@@]

The company’s Patient Clinical Summary system draws on health plan information about a patient’s lab tests, pharmacy claims, hospitalizations and encounters with physicians. The system than can deliver an electronic version of the report to the patient’s physician.

MEDecision says it will announce the first implementation of the system by March 31.
