International SOS Pte Ltd., Singapore, has promoted James Williams to president and chief operating officer of its Philadelphia-based Americas region.[@@]

Williams, who started at International SOS in 1994, previously was general manager of the Americans region.

International SOS operates a large international medical assistance network for health insurers and large employers.
