John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Boston, has agreed to use software from McCamish Systems L.L.C., Atlanta, to administer its variable life policies.[@@]

John Hancock Life, a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, will be using the software to support products aimed at the retail, corporate and high-net-worth markets, McCamish says.

McCamish has been selling software both to John Hancock and Manulife for the past 6 years, but the new deal expands that relationship, according to McCamish executives.
