A U.S. arm of Sun Life Financial Corp., Toronto, will be working with a Chicago company to sell employee-assistance program services to group disability customers.[@@]
Sun Life Financial’s Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based U.S. group insurance division says the alliance, with ComPsych Corp., will include a wide range of work-life services, such as child care and elder care referrals, along with traditional EAP counseling services.
Traditionally, the main sellers of EAP programs have been group health carriers and group health brokers, but EAP vendors have been branching out in recent years.
