A Uniondale, N.Y., company is introducing the AgencyWare system.[@@]

The company, OnlineBenefits Inc., says the new software system is a product for group benefits brokers that combines sales, service and commission-tracking features.

OnlineBenefits has based the system on technology it scooped up when it acquired Captiva Systems Inc., Miami, in December 2004.

Captiva, which had been developing AgencyWare for several years, is best known for its CommissionsDue software. OnlineBenefits also will be introducing an OnlineBenefits version of the CommissionsDue software, OnlineBenefits says.

OnlineBenefits plans to connect AgencyWare with its Benergy System, Advisor Tools and Client Community systems, the company says.
