A well-known life insurance company investment affiliate has a new technology chief.[@@]
The affiliate, New York Life Investment Management L.L.C., Parsippany, N.J., has hired William Gibson to be senior managing director of technology and operations.
NYLIM is a unit of New York Life Insurance Company, New York.
Gibson previously was global chief operating officer for ING Investment Management, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam. Gibson also was general manager of operations and information technology at ING.
Gibson has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and master’s degrees in finance and marketing from Cornell University.
