A New York insurer has announced a change in leadership at an Asian unit.[@@]
The insurer, New York Life Insurance Company, has named Gary Bennett to succeed John Jones as president of New York Life Insurance Worldwide Ltd., Hong Kong.
Bennett previously was managing director, North Asia, for Prudential Corporation Asia, a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London.
Jones, who is retiring after 30 years in the life insurance industry, has been president of the Hong Kong unit since January 2002, New York Life says.
