Wachovia To Serve Small 401(k) Plans

A giant Charlotte, N.C., bank wants to do business with more retirement plans.[@@]

The bank, Wachovia Corp., says it now will sell retirement services to businesses with $500,000 to $3 million in 401(k) plan assets.

The company’s program for small plans will include a flexible investment menu and a managed account option, Wachovia says.
