Vettro Ties Call Center To Field Reps

Phoenix Life Insurance Company, Hartford, wants to tie its desktop computers to its hand-held computers.[@@]

Phoenix Life, a unit of Phoenix Companies Inc., has agreed to use software from Vettro Inc., New York, to connect the desktop computers in its call centers with its field reps’ BlackBerry computers.

The new system should help sales managers, wholesalers and other Phoenix Life producers get to their Salesforce.com accounts while they are in the field, Vettro says.
