The marketing arm of Minnesota Life Insurance Company, St. Paul, Minn., has promoted Derek Wolden.[@@]

Wolden will be manager, communications and branding, at Minnesota Life’s Securian Financial Network unit. He will be responsible for communications programs for the unit’s individual financial security division.

Wolden previously was a publications editor at Minnesota Life.

Wolden has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia College.
