Union Central Adds 3 Individual Products

A Cincinnati life insurer has beefed up its product line.[@@]

The insurer, Union Central Life Insurance Company, has introduced the Excel Provider UL universal life insurance policy, the Excel Accumulator VUL variable universal life insurance policy and the Advantage VA III variable annuity.

The Excel Provider UL policy offers a 3% guaranteed interest rate, 5 underwriting classes and a choice of 5 riders, including an insurance exchange rider.

The Excel Accumulator VUL policy, a flexible-premium policy, includes a feature that alerts a client when a heavily loaned policy is in danger of lapsing.

The VUL policy allows for 12 free yearly transfers and comes with a menu of 14 riders, including a “term for other insureds” rider.

The Advantage VA III annuity is a flexible-premium variable annuity product that includes a guaranteed account option backed by Union Central.
