Jackson National Extends VUL Line

A Lansing, Mich., insurer has introduced the Ultimate Investor life insurance policy.[@@]

The insurer, Jackson National Life Insurance Company, says the new policy is a flexible-premium variable universal life product.

Features include a menu of 43 investment options, net-zero cost loans after 5 years, a guaranteed minimum death benefit rider that can assure coverage for the greater of 20 years or until the insured reaches 65, and a tiered compensation structure.

Jackson National, a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London, also is offering a no-sales-charge product companion for fee-only advisors.
