AIM Investments, Houston, has changed the name of its AIM International Emerging Growth Fund.[@@]

The company changed the name to AIM International Small Company Fund. AIM Investments, which is a service mark of AIM Management Group Inc., says it made the move the better to reflect the fund’s investment objective, strategy and style.

Under Securities and Exchange Commission rules governing fund names, the fund must invest at least 80% of its net assets in small companies, AIM points out.
