Conseco Hires 2 Executives

A Carmel, Indiana, insurer has added a pair of executive vice presidents.[@@]

The insurer, Conseco Inc., has named Anthony Zehnder executive vice president, corporate communications, and James Hohmann, executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

Zehnder previously was head of global corporate communications for Lehman Brothers Inc., New York. He also spent 7 years in public relations at General Electric Company, Fairfield, Conn., and he worked for 9 years as an editor at Chronicle Publishing Company, St. Charles, Ill.

Zehnder has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Beloit College.

Hohmann has been president of XL Life and Annuity, Hamilton, Bermuda.

Hohmann has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
