The Wellesley Hills, Mass., arm of a Canadian insurer has hired a key executive.[@@]
Sun Life Financial U.S. has named Keith Gubbay to be vice president and chief actuary.
Gubbay previously was executive vice president and chief actuary at ING Americas, Atlanta, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.
Gubbay has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Sheffield University in England and a master’s degree in business from Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Sun Life Financial U.S. is a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
