The guide, published by LOMA, reviews the history and current status of the market for life insurance and annuity products that employ separate accounts.
Stephen Forbes, the LOMA senior vice president who wrote the 51-page guide, covers topics such as the federal regulations that govern separate accounts, the financial risk profiles of the life insurers managing the accounts, and the financial management issues associated with separate account operations.
