A Bay State life insurer has published a guide to fiduciary responsibility for clients who sponsor retirement plans.[@@]

The retirement services unit at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass., has published a paper version of the guide, “Helping You Fulfill Your Fiduciary Duties” and posted an electronic version on its plan sponsor Web site, MassMutual says.

The guide helps explain employers’ responsibilities under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
