A Richmond, Va., insurer has promoted a distribution executive.[@@]
Enrique Vasquez will be president of the Personal Advisor Network at Genworth Financial Inc.
The network includes a broker-dealer, Terra Securities Corp., and a roster of 2,200 tax and advisors and financial planners.
Vasquez has been a member of Genworth’s business development team. One of his jobs was helping to combine the operations of Hochman & Baker Inc., Northbrook, Ill., a recently acquired accounting and financial advisory firm, with those of the Personal Advisor Network.
Vasquez has a master’s degree in international business from Fordham University. He succeeds Rob Methven, who became president of Genworth’s retirement services group in September.
In another, related move, Genworth has promoted Howard Kite to chief operating officer at the Personal Advisor Network. Kite has been working for Genworth’s broker-dealer organization for 14 years.
