WellPoint Unit Expands Individual Deductible Choices

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Indianapolis, is offering more health insurance products to individuals and families in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.[@@]

The company, now a unit of WellPoint Inc., Indianapolis, is introducing higher deductible options for purchasers of its Blue Access Saver preferred provider organization policies.

Blue Access Saver customers who want health savings accounts can get account services from J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, New York.

Anthem also is introducing the Blue Access Economy plan, a PPO product that offers individuals and families a choice of a $500, $1,000 or $1,500 deductible.
