Transamerica Life Distributors, Kansas City, Mo., has hired John Runge to be national accounts sales manager.[@@]

Runge previously was a regional vice president for individual life insurance at the Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based U.S. arm of Sun Life Financial Inc. Runge also has been the owner and manager of Capitol Services Group, Baltimore.

Transamerica Life Distributors is a unit of Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group, which, in turn, is a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands.
