U.S. employees are about as satisfied with their health and retirement benefits as they were 2 years ago.[@@]

Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Washington, has published statistics supporting that conclusion in a report on a survey of about 13,000 U.S. employees.

The consulting firm conducted a similar survey in 2002.

Although satisfaction levels with specific benefits were about the same as in 2002, the percentage of employees who said their employee benefits compared favorably with benefits at other employers increased to 44%, up from 32% in 1999.
