A Midwestern insurer is adding a package of services for customers with wandering ways.[@@]
Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb., will be adding travel assistance services backed by AXA Assistance USA Inc., New York, to its life insurance policies and its accidental death and disability policies.
The product feature includes customers who are more than 100 miles from home help with tasks such as locating medical care, coordinating medical insurance and arranging for help with getting back home.
The program also can help with non-medical needs, such as tracking delayed luggage, replacing lost airline tickets and providing referrals to local lawyers.
AXA Assistance is a unit of AXA S.A., Paris.
