Independent Financial Marketing Group Inc., Purchase, N.Y., has hired Frank Genna to be associate counsel and compliance manager.[@@]
IFMG, a company that distributes financial services products through banks, says the compliance manager position is a new position.
Genna previously was director of compliance at J.P. Morgan Chase & Company Inc., New York. He handled compliance for the company’s broker-dealer and investment advisor units.
Genna has a bachelor’s degree from Farleigh Dickinson University and a law degree from Rutgers University
IFMG is a unit of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
