Insurer Taps Former N.J. Prosecutor

The international unit of New York Life Insurance Company, New York, has hired Sandra Bograd to be vice president and chief compliance officer.[@@]

Bograd succeeds Cordelia Yoon, who is now the deputy general counsel at New York Life International.

Bograd previously worked in the compliance operations at American International Group Inc., New York. She began her career as a prosecutor in Essex County, N.J.

Bograd has a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a law degree from Vermont Law School. She is a member of the International Security Committee of the New York City Bar Association and a founding member of the Hands Across The World Committee of Save The Children International.
