Principal To Market Disability Through Business Groups

Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, will be selling employers a new individual disability insurance program through business associations.[@@]

The program provides a 10% discount on individual disability insurance for members of approved associations.

For 3 or more individuals with a common employer, Principal offers a 20% multi-life discount, regardless of whether the individual or the employer pays the premiums. Employees can buy the insurance on a stand-alone basis or use the insurance to supplement existing employer-sponsored disability coverage.

Principal also has a multi-life disability insurance program.
